Greenfield Wins three prizes in "My Sustainable Beirut in 2030"

Aya Jumaa, Zainab Al-Sayed, and Jana Mourad won three prizes in the 'My Sustainable Beirut in 2030' competition organized by UNESCO and the Makhzomi Foundation. Their achievements highlight the importance of sustainability in the future of Beirut, much like the initiatives supported by Greenfield College and the recognition of efforts in various fields, such as the Model United Nations awards. "Virtual Wins"

Even through remote learning, Greenfield College students demonstrated their winning drive and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Noor Hamadi earned a prestigious Secretary General Award, while Hiba Zwaine received a Best Improvement Award at this year’s Global Classrooms Model United Nations Simulation Program at LAU Beirut. Additionally, Ali Charaffeddine, a fifth grader, won first prize for his Environment Day Awareness video titled “Mother Earth is Suffering,” awarded by the Chair of “Foundation Diane” – CEED in collaboration with Saint Joseph University of Beirut. His impactful video sheds light on the dangers of pollution in Lebanon, showcasing his practical investigative skills as he thoroughly surveyed and explored this pressing issue. Congratulations to our hardworking students for their remarkable achievements!

Greenfield College consistently excels at the Model United Nations awards, winning multiple prizes each year at competitions held at the Lebanese American University and NDU, all while promoting a vision for a sustainable Beirut.

"ELO: English Language Olympics International Awards"

Greenfield College recently achieved recognition by winning an international award at the English Language Olympics held in Jordan. The two documentaries showcased at this prestigious event captivated both the jury and the audience, further enhancing Greenfield College's reputation in the realm of education, much like the recognition received at the Model United Nations awards.
